CAF Statement on the Women’s AFCON Qualifier: Equatorial Guinea vs DR Congo!

On Wednesday, October 20, 2021, CAF had scheduled the first round, first leg of the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Equatorial Guinea and Democratic Republic of Congo in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

DR Congo failed to arrive at the match venue for the fixture. The Organising Committee has received the report on the matter and applied Article 62 of the tournament Regulations.

The second leg of this fixture has been cancelled.
