CONCACAF’s Disciplinary Committee sanctions Mexico & USA Men’s NT Players & Federations!

CONCACAF has announced its Disciplinary Committee has suspended four players and sanctioned the Football Federations of Mexico and the United States following the on-field player misconduct that took place during their 2022/23 CONCACAF Nations League (CNL) Semifinals in Las Vegas on June 15.

After due consideration of the evidence gathered during their investigation and based on the CNL’s Regulations, and the FIFA Disciplinary Code, the Committee has imposed the following suspensions:

These are in addition to the automatic one-match suspensions and must be served in CONCACAF national team competitions.

Furthermore, the Committee has imposed an undisclosed fine on both Federations and warned them that more severe sanctions could be taken should incidents occur during their upcoming matches in CONCACAF national team competitions.
