Delhi Dynamos head into this game on the back of a 6-game unbeaten run and all eyes will be on striker Daniel Lahlimpuia who has bagged three goals in his last two appearances. The Indian players in the side have scored 14 goals in the tournament so far, a stat Josep Gombau is quite impressed of.
“I’m extremely proud of the Indian players and the way they have matured this season. It hasn’t been the best of the campaigns but these players have developed well and have scored important goals.”
ATK meanwhile with a win could secure the sixth spot in the table, which would mean a direct entry into the Super Cup. The game will also see the return of former Delhi Dynamos captain Pritam Kotal who had left the club in January for the Kolkata outfit. Former Lion and the club all time top scorer Kalu Uche will also be present for the opposition.
Gombau’s side come into this game with just one player missing as Marti Crespi is suspended while ATK are sweating over the fitness of playmaker Manuel Lanzarote.
The last time these two sides met, ATK registered a 2-1 win in the capital.
