An Everton FC Under-19s squad has set off for the Premier League’s Next Generation Cup in India.
Taking place at the Reliance Corporate Park in Mumbai between Wednesday, May 17 to Friday, May 26, the young Blues will be led by Under-18 assistant coach Kieran Driscoll.
The Toffees have been drawn in Group B and will play their opening game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday (3.30pm kick-off BST) before facing Reliance Foundation Young Champs on Saturday (11.30am BST). Everton FC will then conclude their group next Tuesday when they face Sudeva Delhi FC (3.30pm BST).
Meanwhile, Group A includes Bengaluru FC, West Ham United, ATK Mohun Bogan and the current NextGen Cup champions from South Africa, Stellenbosch FC.
