FC Bengaluru United in Durand Cup semifinals, Army Red forced to pull out!

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the 130th edition of the Durand Cup were forced to call-off the quarterfinal match between Army Red and FC Bengaluru United which was scheduled for Friday, September 24 at the Kalyani Municipal Stadium due to positive Covid cases reported within the Army Red squad.

The Army Red sqaud decided to withdraw fro the tournament as a result and FC Bengaluru United receive a bye into the semifinals.

They would face the winners between Bengaluru FC and Army Green in the semifinals.

All decisions have been taken, keeping in mind the health and safety of players and officials primarily and the continuity and success of the tournament.
