FC Goa signs striker Adrian Colunga ahead of ISL-4!

Indian Super League franchise FC Goa have completed the signing of striker Adrian Colunga to complete its quota of the foreigner signings for the ISL – Season 4.

After the announcement of the signing of Edu Bedia, FC Goa have moved quickly to sign Adrian Colunga as the second striking option for the club. With over 14 years of experience in the top divisions of Europe, Colunga is expected to give Coro tough competition for the starting striker spot at the club.

32 year old Oviedo-born Adrian Colunga Perez played in his youth for
Covadonga and Sporting Gijon. He made it to the Sporting Gijob ‘B’ team but was loaned out to CD Turón, Club Marino de Luanco (twice), and UC Ceares.

Thereafter Adrian Colunga played for Soledad, Pájara Playas, UD Las Palmas, Recreativo Huelva, Real Zaragoza, Getafe CF, Sporting Gijon, Brighton & Hove Albion, Granada CF, RCD Mallorca, and Anorthosis Famagusta.

With nimble feet and a hard worker off the ball, the Asturian should suit Lobera’s style of play and will be relied upon to share the bulk of the goalscoring burden along with Coro.

With the squad now complete, FC Goa is expected to fill the last few slots in the team with a few of their developmental players.
