FIFA Men’s World Ranking: Argentina stay top, India drop into 163rd place!

FIFA - Coca Cola Mens World RankingEarlier in the day, the latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released by the world football governing body and in it India drop one place into 163rd position behind Comoros and ahead of Tajikistan.

India continue to have 151 points and drop a spot into 29th position in the Asian (AFC) rankings.

In South Asia, Afghanistan (156th) remain top now ahead of India (163rd). Thereafter come the Maldives (174th), Bangladesh (181st), Nepal (182nd), Bhutan (188th), Sri Lanka (189th) and Pakistan (192nd).

India’s next opponent in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup playoffs are Laos, who are behind India as 174th in the FIFA Men’s World Rankings.

At the top, Argentina stay in pole position with 1503 points ahead of Belgium (1,384 pts), but Colombia (1,328 pts) and FIFA World Cup winners Germany (1,310 pts) each gain a spot, while Chile (1,293 pts) drop into fifth position.
