FIFA Referees Head’s maiden visit to mark three simultaneous FIFA Courses in July!

RefereesIn a revolutionary step to boost Refereeing in India, the All India Football Federation, for the first time, will be conducting three FIFA Refereeing Courses simultaneously to narrow down the gap between various elements for efficient Refereeing.

The AIFF will conduct FIFA-MA Referees’ Course, the FIFA-MA Assistant Referees Course and the FIFA-MA Referees’ Assessor/Instructor Course from July 22-26, July 24-28 and July 25-29 respectively.

Furthermore, FIFA’s Head of Referees Massimo Busacca along with FIFA’s Technical Referee Instructor and UEFA Referee Observer Steve Bennett and other instructors will have joint sessions with the participants of the three courses on July 25 – 26 to further boost the evolution of Referees in India.

Speaking exclusively to AIFF Media, AIFF’s Head of Referees, Col. Goutam Kar (retd) said, “The FIFA Referees Head will be here in India for the first time and we are proud to host him. We aim to learn through his experience and further bolster Refereeing in India. We are a big country with a big dream.”

“Refereeing is already on the rise in India and through the FIFA supported Courses we ensure that our Referees get the best knowledge and develop under the tutelage of experience eyes”.

“These three Courses will help the participants to understand the requirements of each other better whilst promoting unity and consistency”, Col. Kar added.
