35 year old Mumbai-born Floyd Pinto played for his university in Mumbai and Kenkre FC before becoming a coach at the Academy of Kenkre FC and later on coaching their first team.
Thereafter Floyd Pinto worked for the All India Football Federation as an assistant coach of the India Under-17s and the Indian Arrows before being named head coach of the India U-19 and U-20, also being head coach of the Indian Arrows in the I-League.
In 2020, Floyd Pinto joined RoundGlass Punjab FC as an assistant coach and now joins an ISL team in the Highlanders for the first time.
