France’s FFF president Noel Le Graet to stand aside!

In an extraordinary session of the French Football Federation (FFF) on Wednesday, January 11 at the Federation’s headquarters in Paris, the FFF Executive Committee issued the following statement.

“(President) Noël Le Graët, in agreement with the Executive Committee of the FFF meeting today in Paris, has chosen to withdraw from his functions as President of the Federation until the final communication of the audit conducted by the Ministry of Sports, and pending its analysis by the Executive Committee of the FFF.”

“The Executive Committee of the FFF has also decided to lay off Florence Hardouin, Director General of the FFF, as a precautionary measure.”

“As of today, Philippe Diallo, Deputy Vice-President of the FFF, will assume the interim of these two functions.”

“Finally, the FFF Executive Committee, informed of the terms of the extension of Didier Deschamps’ contract at the head of the France National Team until 2026, unanimously validated it.”
