Francisco De Sa Fardilha named technical director of Bayern Munich women’s football!

A new face for FC Bayern Munich Women: Francisco De Sá Fardilha has been appointed technical director of women’s football. The French-born Portuguese national was, among other things, technical director of women’s football for Girondins Bordeaux and assistant academy manager at LOSC Lille. The 36-year-old speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian and some German, and will take up his new position at FC Bayern on March 1, 2023.

Francisco De Sá Fardilha, Bayern Munich women’s football technical director, said, “I was honoured with the invitation to join such a prestigious institution.
