Harmanjot Singh Khabra announces he will leave East Bengal!

East Bengal - Harmanjot Singh KhabraIndian international midfielder Harmanjot Singh Khabra yesterday on social media announced that he would leave Kolkata giants East Bengal Club at the end of the season after seven seasons with them.

27 year old Harmanjot Singh Khabra is a Tata Football Academy product of the 2006 batch and he joined Sporting Clube de Goa from TFA and after three years in Goa, he left Goa in 2009 for Kolkata to join the red-and-gold.

Khabra has won everything but the I-League title with East Bengal during his seven seasons with them and over the last couple of years, Khabra had been on loan with Indian Super League franchise Chennaiyin FC and won the 2015 ISL title while returning for the I-League and Federation Cup.

Khabra’s next club destination is currently unknown, but a player of his class and standard will surely be sought after in the Indian football transfer market with a Chennaiyin FC return for the ISL likely.
