The academy is all set to provide coaching to multiple Batches with batch size of 15 players per batch.
Speaking at the event Adil Mistry, Director of HFL said that this was the first of many academies that they plan to open in various parts of the city and their vision was to ensure that the next generation of young footballers from Hyderabad are better equipped and technically strong as players from anywhere in the country.
The aim of HFL is to give an opportunity to all the talented players in the city to play and showcase their skills in a league that is professionally run and gives them the opportunity to play with and against the best players from Hyderabad. HFL uses the existing infrastructure i.e., all the good 5-a-side football grounds across the city. Thus, creating a good football ecosystem. HFL has used 14 grounds across the city, in the previous four seasons and there will be more grounds added to the list this season.
This year, HFL partnered with the ISL Club – Hyderabad FC to promote football in the city through multiple tournaments for rookies and women, called the HFL – Rookies Cup and HFL – Women’s.
