FC Nantes’ 2024/25 ‘Home’ shirt has a knitted crew neck and once again features the club’s traditional yellow and green stripes, but this time in an original diagonal pattern. The green bands in particular are characterised by the tone-on-tone dye-sub graphics depicting the ermine, the ancient heraldic symbol of the Duchy of Brittany that today identifies the club and the town. The ermine symbol clearly expresses the close ties between the club and the Nantes region.
The customised inside neck label features the colours and logo of the club along with the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment is conceived, designed and developed at Macron’s Valsamoggia Campus. The Macron Hero and the FC Nantes logo both appear in green on the chest. Embroidered behind the neck are eight green stars, referencing the number of French Championship titles the club has won.
The match kit is completed by yellow shorts with a green band around the leg bottoms – a design element borrowed from the world of basketball. Such blends of styling are becoming increasingly common in today’s football, and help make garments more versatile and better suited to wearing off the pitch.
The socks are in yellow with two diagonal green stripes meeting in the centre. The Slim Fit shirt is made mainly from Eco Softlock with an Eco Micromesh panel in the back and Eco Mesh inserts for less weight and improved breathability.
