Indian Women’s League: Quartz SC score 1-0 upset win over Bodyline SC!

On day six of the inaugural Indian Women’s League preliminary round, Quartz SC of Kerala scored a 1-0 upset win over Bodyline SC from Maharashtra at the Odisha Police ground in Cuttack.

The winner for Quartz SC came in the second minute of added time (90+2′) through Mamta Kumari to leave Mumbai’s Bodyline SC devastated while Quartz SC celebrated a memorable win after a couple of defeats.

Despite the loss, the Player of the Match award went to Lako Bhutia from Bodyline SC for a outstanding performance.
