From the start the hosts FC Pune City put ATK under pressure, but they had to wait until the 32nd minute to go ahead when Adil Khan scored off a Marcelinho corner.
But thereafter ATK regrouped and put pressure on FC Pune City, but they wasted a number of chances to allow the hosts to go into the break with a slim 1-0 lead.
And in the 59th minute things got worse for ATK as winger Diego Carlos’ long-range effort went into the back of the net to enhance FC Pune City’s lead before midfielder Rohit Kumar sealed the three points with a third goal in the 77th minute.
