KEY PLAYERS
Trindade Goncalves (Jamshedpur FC)
The Brazilian has been marshalling the Jamshedpur midfield to good effect. He is one of those players who has played in the league previously and that experience has come in handy for the ISL debutants. Goncalves is a crisp passer of the ball and is swift when it comes to initiating attacks. The 21-year-old scored the all-important spot-kick that sealed all three points for his team against the Blues last time around and will want to make a similar sort of an impact against Chennaiyin.
Rene Mihelic (Chennaiyin FC)
The Slovenian has been a key figure in the middle of the park for Chennai even though he hasn’t always started for the southerners. He’s an intelligent player who reads the game well and has a knack of making incisive passes. Mihelic is also an expert at set-pieces, having picked up an assist from one of his free-kicks so far. The 29-year-old’s only goal this season came from the spot and he will be an important figure when his team makes the journey to Jamshedpur.
