The competition was held to search for Escort Kids (the kids who escort the players onto the pitch before each match) for the first home match. The topic of the contest was for the students to imagine Jamshedpur FC and its players in their own unique way.
Kundan Chandra, Jamshedpur FC’s Head of Grassroots and Youth Development, was present at the venue. He was amazed by the creativity of the youngsters, as he said, “It’s unbelievable to see the level of imagination and creativity at such a tender age.”
“I could see that they truly love JFC, it’s their own club after all – club of their own city. It is going to be very difficult to choose the winners.”
A few students with the best drawings from the competition will be given the chance to be Escort Kids for Jamshedpur FC’s first home match this season vs ATK and get tickets to watch the match.
The club launched their first football school with Mount Litera Zee School Jamshedpur, Mango back in August in conjunction with Jamshedpur FC’s Grassroots Programme.
Tickets for the first match are available at the JRD Tata Sports Complex Box Office, Paytm and Insider.in.
