Keeper Laxmikant Kattimani extends Hyderabad FC contract by a year!

Indian Super League franchise Hyderabad FC and their goalkeeper Laxmikant Kattimani have extended the contract by a year until summer 2021.

31 year old Cansaulim-born Laxmikant Kattimani played local football in Goa before making his senior debut for Vasco SC. After only a season, he moved on to Goan giants Dempo SC and spend seven seasons with them unti 2016.

With the ISL kicking off in 2014, he spend five seasons with FC Goa with a loan spell at Mumbai FC before moving to newly founded Hyderabad FC in the summer of 2019.

Laxmikant Kattimani said, ā€œIā€™m really happy to extend my stay at Hyderabad FC. I am very grateful for the faith shown in me by the management. I think towards the end of the last season, we showed a lot of improvement as a team. There was a change in approach and I hope that we can build on that in the upcoming season. The fans have been great in our debut season, and I hope they will keep supporting us.ā€

Laxmikant Kattimani is the latest player to extend his contract with Hyderabad FC following Adil Khan, Mohammed Yasir, Asish Rai, Nikhil Poojary, Dimple Bhagat and Abhishek Halder.
