Kerala Blasters retain talismanic C.K. Vineeth for ISL-4!

Twice Indian Super League finalists Kerala Blasters FC have retained India striker and local hero C.K. Vineeth for the upcoming ISL-4.

29 year old Kannur-born Vineeth played for Chennai Customs and Kerala State Electricity Board before making his professional breakthrough at Chirag United Kerala and then Prayag United of Kolkata. He then played for both Bengaluru FC and the Kerala Blasters over the last couple of years.

C.K. Vineeth had an impressive 2016/17 season with Bengaluru FC in the I-League and AFC Cup, for the Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League and the Indian national team.

After Bengaluru FC decided to retain Sunil Chhetri and Udanta Singh for their Indian Super League debut, Vineeth decided to return to his home state club, where he is a local hero.

In an emotional farewell message to Bengaluru FC and its fans, C.K. Vineeth wrote the following on Facebook
