Leroy Sane & Dayot Upamecano latest Bayern Munich players to test COVID-19 positive!

Two more FC Bayern Munich players have tested positive for the coronavirus and are now self-isolating at home. The players are Germany international Leroy Sane and French international Dayot Upamecano, who are both doing well.

Earlier six players in Manuel Neuer, Kingsley Coman, Corentin Tolisso, Omar Richards, Lucas Hernandez and Tanguy Nianzou besides assistant coach Dino Toppmöller had tested positive for the coronavirus.

Now with eight players testing positive, two players away at the Africa Cup of Nations (Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Bouna Sarr), and others out injured, one will have to see if the Bundesliga restart against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday, January 7 can take place or not.
