Canon Sportif de Yaoundé is a historic club in the African football scene. Founded in 1930, it is based in the capital city of Cameroon.
In its 92-year history, it has won 10 national titles, 12 Cameroon Cups, 3 CAF Champions League titles and an African Cup Winners’ Cup – a rather substantial trophy cabinet. No other team in the country has won as many titles as Canon Yaoundé, who dominated Cameroonian football between the 1970s and 1980s.
