Manchester City & Axi renew global partnership!

Manchester City has today announced the renewal of its global multi-year partnership with, Axi, that will see the leading trading platform continue as the Club’s Official Online Trading Partner.

The renewed agreement will also see Axi further expand its partnership to include Manchester City Women.

Since the launch of the partnership in 2020, Manchester City and Axi have collaborated to successfully elevate and raise awareness of the brand across the Club’s global fanbase and beyond. This has included high visibility branding across the Etihad Stadium, exciting and engaging content with first team players shared on Axi and City content channels and a range of physical events and competitions.

Tom Boyle, Vice President, Global Partnerships Marketing and Operations at City Football Group, said: “We are delighted to announce the renewal of our partnership with Axi today. With shared values of high performance, ambition and innovation throughout the partnership to date, we’ve successfully worked together to achieve great results and impact at a really exciting time for Axi.

“We’re also pleased that Axi has further expanded its agreement to become a partner of Manchester City Women. The commercial appeal of our women’s team and the women’s game in general continues to grow, and it’s fantastic that Axi recognise this and will be joining us on this journey.”

Louis Cooper, Chief Commercial Officer at Axi said: “Our alignment on a global scale with Manchester City’s brand and global fanbase has elevated our position in the marketplace and driven real customer and partner growth ROI, and we’ve found their fan base extremely responsive to our communications.

“The global popularity of women’s football has justly skyrocketed in recent years, as has women’s involvement in our trading products.

“This new aspect of the partnership announced today gives us a chance to help support the women’s side of game and also help Axi resonate even more with female traders and investors, who are a valuable segment of our growth ambition globally. We can’t wait to introduce our clients and the market in general to this great team.”
