Rashford wants the collection to encourage young people through their own self-belief, a mindset that propelled him from humble beginnings in Manchester to international stardom. He sees the pieces in the collection as tools that can transport athletes to new heights.
“Just as on the pitch, every moment and detail counts, and I’m proud of how they converged in my first collection with Nike,” says Marcus. “This is for all those who dream big, work hard, and never stop believing in themselves.”
The footwear is led by silhouettes that span both performance and lifestyle. On the pitch, the Mercurial Superfly family is made with a tonal gradient color palette inspired by Marcus’ boots from his playing career as well as graphics representing a sound wave, a nod to Marcus’ desire to lift up others. Off the pitch, the Nike Air Max Pulse features a light-blue gradient on the upper, along with matte-finished leather and technical knits. Its upper brings hints of Mercurial design, while other areas of the shoe bring some signature touches, like Marcus’ logo on the tongue. The sock liner reads, “When you believe in yourself, incredible things can happen.” Other apparel pieces include a woven tracksuit jacket, pants, tees and a limited-edition football.
