Minerva Punjab FC sign Belorussian striker Dzmitry Kowb for the upcoming I-League!

Northern giants Minerva Punjab FC completed the signing of Minsk-based Belorussian striker Dzmitry Kowb who comes with a rich experience of playing in Eastern European countries like Belarus, Lithuania and Estonia.

The 30 year old 6ft striker last played for JK Narva Trans which plays in the Meistriliiga the highest division of the Estonian Football Association and scored 10 goals in 14 appearance for the Narva-based team.

Prior to his stint in Estonia he also featured for Belarus-based side FC Gorodeya which plays in the Belarusian Premier League and scored 5 goals in 19 appearance in the 2015/16 season. He also had a stint at other Belarus Premier League clubs like FC Vitebsk, FC Dnepr Mogilev, FC Minsk and A Lyga (Lithuania top division) team FK Trakai.

In 2014, while playing in the Lithuanian league, he drew international media attention with his goal celebration as he celebrated scoring a last-minute equalizer by applauding for himself from the spectator stand.

Coming from an extremely succesfull season in Estonia scoring 10 goals in 14 games, and on his first assignment on Asian soil in India the Belarus born striker would surely look to impress and turn heads with his goal scoring ability and experience for Minerva Punjab FC.
