Despite the issues within Mohun Bagan and their executive committee, the resigned club administrators have signed the above mentioned 25 players to form a formidable squad next season and challenge for titles.
Amongst the prized catches are striker Henry Kisekka of Gokulam Kerala FC, and Bengal’s Santosh Trophy duo of Tirthankar Sarkar and Jiten Murmu, both of rivals Mohammedan Sporting Club; and the I-League winning duo of Abhishek Ambekar and Moinuddin Khan from Minerva Punjab FC.
Missing from the squad are foreigners, Cameron Watson and Akram Moghrabi besides on loan Rana Gharami and Sheikh Faiaz and the impressive Nikhil Kadam.
