The regular Bundesliga weekend will still start on a Friday night, but it will end on a Monday evening on five occasions, while Sunday’s scheduling will see a new early kick-off introduced on five occasions.
This will give Bundesliga fans even more opportunity to see their stars in action without missing a kick from other compelling fixtures, with seven different kick-off times for the nine weekly fixtures to slot into.
Here a guide to the new Matchday schedule from 2017/18 (all times are local):
Friday:
– One fixture at 20:30h CET
Saturday:
– Several fixtures at 15:30h CET
– One fixture at 18:30h CET
Sunday:
– One fixture at 15:30h CET
– One fixture at 18:00h CET
– On five weekends, one additional fixture at 13:30h CET.
Monday:
– One fixture at 20:30h CET on five weekends of the season.
