Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the contract extension of striker V.P. Suhair ahead of the 2021/22 season.

29 year old Suhair Vadakkepeedika, known in short as V.P. Suhair, was born in Palakkad, Kerala. Suhair has experience of playing for clubs like United SC, East Bengal Club, Gokulam Kerala FC and finally Mohun Bagan, where he won the 2019/20 I-League title.

Last season, V.P. Suhair had joined NorthEast United FC and impressed with his performances for the Highlanders, scoring three goals in 18 appearances. He will hope to build on that last season.
