Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the signing of defender Mohammed Irshad from RoundGlass Punjab FC FC ahead of the 2021/22 season.
24 year old Tirur-born Mohammed Irshad played in his youth for Viva Kerala, Tirur Sports Academy, and DSK Shivajians FC.
It was at DSK Shivajians FC that Mohammed Irshad made his senior debut. Thereafter he went on to play for Gokulam Kerala FC, Minerva Punjab FC, returning to Gokulam Kerala FC before being signed by SC East Bengal for their ISL debut.
But he was send to RoundGlass Punjab FC for the remainder of the season in January 2021 and now moves on to the Highlanders.
