19 year old Parthib Sundar Gogoi, who was born in Sivasagar in Assam, played locally football and made it into the India youth international set-up.
After playing for the Ozone FC Under-18s, he joined the Indian Arrows and spend the last two seasons with them to play in the I-League.
Now Parthib Gogoi moves back home to Assam to join NorthEast United FC.
Interestingly Parthib Sundar Gogoi is the younger brother of Pragyan Sundar Gogoi, who will be his team mate at the Highlanders.
NorthEast United FC technical director Ohad Efrat said, “Our club philosophy is to recognise and nurture the young talents of the Northeast region. Parthib is definitely one of the best talents in the region and he is a fantastic addition to our squad.”
