Nottingham Forest loan Keylor Navas from Paris Saint-Germain!

Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of Keylor Navas from Paris Saint-Germain.

The goalkeeper has signed on loan for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.

Navas, 36, brings a wealth of international and domestic experience to the Club, having made 564 appearances in a trophy-laden career.

The Costa Rican international has played 110 times for his country having made his debut against Suriname in October 2008 and has since featured in three consecutive FIFA World Cups including in Qatar last winter.

Making a combined 184 appearances during his spells with Deportivo Saprissa, Albacete and Levante, Navas signed for European giants Real Madrid in the summer of 2014.

The goalkeeper went on to win 12 major trophies with the Spanish club, including three UEFA Champions League titles and one La Liga title. He was named UEFA Champions League Goalkeeper of the Season and was also named in the UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season as Real won their 13th title in 2017/18, defeating Liverpool 3-1 in the final.

After making 162 appearances during a five-year spell at the Bernabeu, Navas moved to Paris Saint-Germain in September 2019.

The shot-stopper won two Ligue 1 titles and back-to-back Coupe de France with PSG, and was named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year as well as named Goalkeeper of the Year in 2020/21.

Having spent four years in the French capital, Navas moves to England for the first time in his distinguished career and becomes the Club’s latest signing of the January transfer window.
