Bengaluru FC suffered their first defeat of the season against Hyderabad FC at the G.M.C Balayogi Athletic Stadium on Saturday, while Josep Gombau’s men beat Kerala Blasters to climb up the points table and will be on the hunt to secure two wins on the trot.
Last season, Odisha FC started off their season with an emphatic victory over the Blues. Javi scored twice while Aridai finished things off in style to take all three points home for the Juggernauts.
In the reverse fixture, Bengaluru FC secured a narrow win over the Juggernauts. Nandhakumar broke the deadlock early in the first half while Danish equalized at the end of the first 30 minutes. Cleiton scored in the second half which was enough for BFC to secure all three points.
Currently, Odisha FC is third on the table while Bengaluru FC is sitting in sixth place. Both teams will be looking for a win but for different reasons.
The match will be broadcasted live from 7.30pm onwards on Star Sports and streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar, and JioTV.
