Defending champions Real Kashmir FC scored a 2-1 extra-time win over I-League rivals Sreenidhi Deccan FC in the final of the 124th IFA Shield at the East Bengal Ground in Kolkata today.
Colombian striker David Castaneda Munoz gave Sreenidhi Deccan FC a 30th minute, but they were denied the title due to a 93rd minute Real Kashmir FC equaliser by Spaniard Fran Gonzalez.
Then in extra-time, Real Kashmir FC captain Mason Robertson scored the winner in the 100th minute to give the Snow Leopards their second IFA Shield title.
Real Kashmir FC defender Fran Gonzalez was named the man of the match.
