Reliance Foundation Young Champs and the Mizoram Football Association are jointly organising the grassroots tournament, which is divided into five age groups.
Former India striker Jeje Lalpekhlua and Mizoram defender Zohmingliana Ralte were present at the opening ceremony alongside MFA secretary Lalnghinglova Hmar.
The Children’s League will also include training sessions.
