On Sunday afternoon the 2017/18 league season continued for my German home town football club, FC Remscheid, promoted to the Landesliga (6th division) with a home game against VfL Jüchen-Garzweiler at the Röntgenstadion in Remscheid. The game ended with a hard fought 1-0 win for FCR.
