Salgaocar FC Juniors beat Panjim Footballers to emerge Goa First Division champions!

It was the wettest day before the monsoons arrive in Goa, but Salgaocar FC Juniors were still too good for the visiting Panjim Footballers by beating them 2-0 at the Ambelim ground.

In their previous meeting Salgaocar Juniors hammered Panjim Footballers 5-0 which had been played at the Don Bosco ground in Panjim.

Lalit Tariya and Liston Colaco scored the all imortant goals for their side to win and to be crowned Champions of the 2016/17 GFA First Division League.
