The squad is coming on the back of a narrow 2-1 defeat in Kolkata against Mohammedan Sporting where Vijay Kumar scored an 84th minute goal to halve the deficit.
“It was great to score the first goal in my first match. We could have scored a second goal too, but it wasn’t to be,” Vijay exclaimed.
The captain, Baset Hansdah, is wary of the thereat that the opposition poses but believes that his team is ready, “We have received inputs about TRAU FC and how they are a good attacking team. We will be cautious but at the same time we are confident of getting a good result.”
The match will be played at the JRD Tata Sports Complex also known as The Furnace at 5pm on Tuesday, March 20.
