31 year old Kabul-born Faysal Shayesteh fleed Afghanistan as a youngster and started to play in the Netherlands with Twente Enschede before joininh SC Heerenveen.
At senior level, Faysal Shayesteh played for Etar Veliko Tarnovo FC (Bulgaria), Songkhla United FC (Thailand), Pahang FA (Malaysia), Paykan FC (Iran), and then came to India to play for Gokulam Kerala FC but only made one appearance.
Thereafter Faysal Shayesteh returned to Thailand to play for Lampang FC, Air Force Central FC and once more for Lampang FC before moving back to the Netherlands to play for VV DUNO.
Now Faysal Shayesteh moves to India for a second stint, this time with Sreenidi Deccan FC.
