RoundGlass Punjab FC started the game on the front foot and got on the scoresheet three minutes in. A cross from Mohammad Sabik bounced off the crossbar and fell for Gunleiba Wangkeirakpam who nodded it into the back of the net from close range.
RoundGlass Punjab had more possession of the ball but it took just ten minutes for Sudeva Delhi to equalise. Following a scramble in the box, the ball fell kindly for Nirmal Meitei who smashed it into the bottom corner. Both sides took turns to attack but the scoreline remained the same till half-time.
Into the second period, the battle stayed in midfield as both teams struggled to break through the opposition backline. There were a few half-chances for Sudeva Delhi FC and RoundGlass Punjab FC but the goalkeepers were in top form and denied everything that came their way.
The referee blew the whistle for full time and the game went straight into penalties which ended 4-3 in favour of Sudeva Delhi, who finished the tournament.
