UEFA calls extraordinary ExCo meeting, UEFA Champions League final set to be shifted!

Following the evolution of the situation between Russia and Ukraine in the last 24 hours, the UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin has decided to call an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee for Friday, February 25 at 10:00 CET, in order to evaluate the situation and take all necessary decisions.

One of the topics to be discussed will be the 2022 UEFA Champions League final which is supposed to be played in the Russian city of St. Petersburg on May 28, but given the current developments it is set to be shifted elsewhere.

Further communication will be made after the meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee.
