Keitel represented Germany at youth level 32 times, 15 of those for the U21 team. The midfielder has signed a contract at VfB until June 30, 2028.
Yannik Keitel said, “I’m already very much looking forward to the new challenge at VfB Stuttgart and getting to know the team and the club. Following the talks with the management and the coach, I’m convinced that VfB is the right club for me. I’ll do everything to help the team to continue being successful.”
VfB Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth said, “Yannik’s profile and style of play are a very good fit for us. He’s gained important experience at both national and international level in the last few years, and has thus matured as a player and a personality. At the same time, we see the potential for further development in Yannik, which is why we’re very pleased that he’ll wear the white and red shirt in the future.”
