Jeakson Singh Thanoujam, whose bullet header against Colombia in the FIFA U-17 World Cup became India’s first-ever goal in any FIFA tournament, said it was a great feeling to score against a team like Colombia and create history for Indian football.

“The best part is that my parents were very happy with the achievement,” he said in an exclusive chat with NDTV.

Abhishek Yadav, COO of U-17 World Cup, also heaped praise on India football team and said that he was so proud of the players’ achievements. “What I really like about this bunch is that they have started to think like professionals,” he told NDTV.
