The qualifiers will commence from August 7, 2017 at the Cooperage Stadium in Mumbai. WIFA has further asked the following clubs to have their teams ready for the Tournament. Kenkre FC, Football School of India, Tiger Sports Academy, Football Leaders Academy, PIFA Sports, Colaba Sports League, Bodyline SC and Rush Soccer are the eight teams which will be participating in the Pre-Qualifiers.
On Saturday, July 22, a meeting is scheduled to take place at the Cooperage Stadium of the managers of the participating teams to apprise the teams with the modalities of the Tournament.
With the recently concluded WIFA Women’s Championship, this is yet another opportunity for women footballers to come out and prove themselves on a grand stage.
