The 131st Durand Cup will witness a Kolkata derby on its opening day on August 16, 2022 as ATK Mohun Bagan face East Bengal Club at the Saltlake Stadium.
But some former players question why the date was chosen on which in 1980, 16 fans died at the Eden Gardens.
