I-League side NEROCA (North Eastern Re-Organising Cultural Association) FC have announced the signing of midfielder Yumnam Gopi Singh from Mohammedan Sporting for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
23 year old Yumnam Gopi Singh, who was born in Wangjing in Manipur, played locally in his youth.
Yumnam Gopi Singh joined NEROCA FC in 2017 and impressed for them in the I-League. That earned him a move to ATK but he only went on to play for their B team over two seasons.
He then joined Bhowanipore FC and impressed in the Calcutta Football League for him to earn a move to SC East Bengal. He then moved to join FC Bengaluru United but they didn’t qualify for the I-League and he moved to Mohammedan Sporting, where he hasn’t appeared in the I-League.
Now Yumnam Gopi Singh returns to NEROCA FC and will hope to get playing time.
