2021/22 DFB German Cup: Round 2 draw throws up interesting matches!

The draw for the second round of the DFB German Cup (DFB Pokal) 2021/22 was held tonight with the draw carried out by German kanu legend Ronald Rauhe, while former Germany Women’s international Celia Sasic acted as the observer at the ARD studios in Cologne.

The top clash would be between Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach against record champions Bayern Munich, while defending champions Borussia Dortmund are set to Bundesliga 2 side FC Ingolstadt.

The matches would be played on October 26/27 across the country with the smaller clubs looking to welcome their more established opponents.
