The draw for the semifinals of the DFB German Cup (DFB Pokal) 2021/22 was held tonight in the ARD Sportschau. Bobsleigh Olympic goal medallist Laura Nolte had the honour of pulling out the match pairings, while Germany football national team coach Hansi Flick acted as the official keeper of the draw.
Bundesliga 2 side Hamburger SV host SC Freiburg, while RB Leipzig host 1. FC Union Berlin in a Bundesliga match-up
The matches would be played on April 19/20 across the country.
