The test will focus on on-demand content, such as highlights and match data from the DFL’s international product portfolio, as well as live match action individually tailored for cars. The pilot project will examine which content is suitable – both when driving and stationary – with the safety of all passengers remaining the highest priority.
The testing will start on Matchday 16 (January 20–22, 2023) of the current Bundesliga season, initially in Germany. Other countries in Europe, the Americas and Asia will follow shortly.
