Nike & AS Roma honour the Innovative Legacy of the Eternal City!

The subtle design occupying the the front of the Nike-made AS Roma’s new home shirt is rendered in a deep red colour and gives the impression of ancient Roman chainmail armour.

Lorica Hamata, the chainmail armour worn by soldiers in ancient Rome, forms the graphic base of AS Roma’s 2018-19 home kit.

As rendered, the links on the Giallorossi shirt represent the unbreakable bond between AS Roma, the city and the club’s fans all over the world.

The new home shirt was worn by the players for the first time during Roma versus Juventus in Serie A on Sunday, May 13.
