Real Madrid and Sanitas celebrate 20 years in collaboration!

Real Madrid and Sanitas are celebrating 20 years of partnership. Both entities have celebrated this anniversary with a ceremony at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium attended by Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez; Iñaki Peralta, CEO of Sanitas and Bupa Europe & Latin America; Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations of Real Madrid; José Ángel Sánchez, General Manager of Real Madrid; and Iñaki Ereño, Group CEO of Bupa.

During this 20-year period, the club’s official medical provider has given the players of the football and basketball teams the best health care to ensure their best physical and mental conditions. Sanitas has also provided these players and coaching staff with the advantages that digitalisation offers for the healthcare of elite sportsmen and women.

Iñaki Peralta expressed his delight at this collaboration: “20 years is a long time in a club that is so used to winning like Real Madrid. During this time we have witnessed how you have increased the trophy room to house the new cups won with great effort and tenacity during this period.”

Since the beginning of the partnership between Sanitas and Real Madrid, the madridistas have lifted 54 trophies (29 in football and 25 in basketball), including five UEFA Champions League titles and two EuroLeagues.
